ABOUT ME

William Gagnadoux,

Photographer, director, co-founder of the foundation WWTH:

After studying art, photography and audio visuals he worked for 6 years as the official photographer of the CIOFF festival in Confolens. It is these six years pass with the festival that he has quite particularly door his work and his interest on the customs, the traditions and the history of civilization.

By his work he tries to list and to protect the customs and the history of the peoples but also to be able to show through his work their sphere of influence.

Its particular attachment in the history of the man also moves closer to the nature and to all which surrounds him. He crossed more than 10 years to photograph the streets of Damascus, Haman, Beirut, Peking, Samarkand or Istanbul.

In 2006 he made a journey through the Silk Road. Since then he travelled throughout South - East Asia focusing on the ethnic minorities and making picture stories for the French press (Photo, Photo reportage, Glamour...) and Polish (Poznaj Świat, Machina, Foto...) Include a documentaries in collaboration with Chinese TV „Shangri La”.
